Job Purpose Statement
• Win, retain, and develop new business for the company.
• Builds rapport & trust with customers by being informed about customer’s business and the market.
• Assesses the type and size of customer needs.
• Recommends solutions based on customer needs by using industry knowledge/ expertise.
• Closes business connecting a customer need with a WFS solution and the value it may create for the customer.
• Identifies additional opportunities for other channels.
Key responsibilities:
• Define sales strategies in line with the company's strategies.
• Enhance existing customer relationships with the goal to retain and expand WFS business.
• Prepare, execute, monitor and continuously improve account strategies/development plans/business plans.
• Conduct sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes and prepare corresponding reports on account status.
• Deliver personal sales plan and maintain effective customer records in WFS system (opportunities, visits etc.).
• Adhere with and execute sales strategy and sales as provided by country sales leadership.
• Negotiate contracts within commercial and operational parameters defined by WFS (e.g. involvement of operational managers responsible for coordinating and fine-tuning the operational processes when negotiating conditions, establishment of service level agreements and SOP - standard operating procedures).
• Ensure renegotiation of prices if necessary.

Skill Requirements:
• Excellent interpersonal skills, “sales talent”.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Good listening and moderation skills.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Speaking Chinese is a plus.
• Good team player, effective in building good relationship with the product team.
• Manage and interact in a co-operative and friendly manner with coworkers and will perform at a consistently and high level with maximum need for supervision and management.
Experience and Qualifications:
• Degree holder or equivalent industry specific qualification.
• Minimum 1 years of relevant sales experience in international freight forwarding / logistics industry.
