Field Service Engineer (Electric Background)

1. Electrical installation for Krones machines and qualified measurements / documentation

2. Start up and commissioning of individual machines of the Krones product portfolio

3. Execute electrical hardware and software changes on site

4. Perform troubleshooting on the Krones range of individual machines and also partner companies with their supplied equipment

5. Provide technical training to machine operators at the customer’s site

6. Provide technical support to customers

7. Actively assist when it comes to design changes/improvements in collaboration with the designer

8. Support the improvement of quality to companywide quality standards

9. Work independently and autonomously on a task and within the working environment

10. Identify and rectify disorders, if necessary with support

11. Actively participate in problem solving to analyze the cause of disorders. Be able to issue disorder reports

12. Encourage measures regarding process/procedure optimization; to advise and implement to develop and optimize work stages

13. Continuously update software backups according internal procedures

14. Supervise Krones equipment and Krones partner equipment installation according company standards

15. Inspect machines for overhaul and spare parts and electrical components

16. Execute machine overhauls and re-setup machines after completion

17. Promote machine upgrade option to customers

18. Support sales department in their activities

19. Take over any further task within Krones Vietnam service department requested by head of department

• Bachelor or higher in technical field (electrical, automation, mechatronics)

• High social competence and good communication skills

• Holistic and cross-functional thinking

• Experience in electrical/automation works in the field preferred

• Basic knowledge and process and fluid technology preferred

• Solid technical understanding of automation of food and beverage industry is preferred

• Self-confident and friendly manner

• Capacity of teamwork with different departments

• Willingness to travel extensively in Vietnam and also abroad

• Good English language skills for internal communication

• Problem solving competence

• Basic organisation and time management skills

• Ability to work under pressure
