Field Service Engineer (Mechanical/ Mechatronics)

1. Installation, set up and commission individual machines of the Krones product portfolio depending on the technical specialization of the technician (e.g. filling technology) under the guidance of an experienced service technician at the beginning and later independently

2. Perform troubleshooting on the Krones range of individual machines and also partner companies with their supplied equipment

3. Provide technical training to machine operators at the customer’s site

4. Provide technical support to customers

5. Actively assist when it comes to design changes/improvements in collaboration with the designer

6. Support the improvement of quality to companywide quality standards

7. Work independently and autonomously on a task and within the working environment

8. Identify and rectify disorders, if necessary with support

9. Actively participate in problem solving to analyze the cause of disorders. Be able to issue disorder reports

10. Encourage measures regarding process/procedure optimization; to advise and implement to develop and optimize work stages

11. Supervise Krones equipment and Krones partner equipment installation according company standards

12. Inspect machines for overhaul and spare parts

13. Execute machine overhauls and re-setup machines after completion

14. Promote machine upgrade option to customers

15. Support sales department in their activities

16. Maintain company assets and equipment

17. Follow safety standards and GMP regulations at any time

18. Full service reporting after job completion

19. Take over any further task within Krones Vietnam service department requested by head of department

• Willing to work on customer site with travel a lot

• Bachelor or higher in technical field (mechanical, mechatronics)

• High social competence and good communication skills

• Self-confident and friendly manner

• Solid technical understanding of food and beverage industry is preferred

• Holistic and cross-functional thinking

• Experience in mechanical works in the field preferred

• Hands-on experience with any kind of mechanical tools

• Experience with welding works

• Profound understanding of mechanical drawings and part lists

• Basic understanding of fluid technology and knowledge in pneumatics

• Capacity of teamwork with different departments

• Willingness to travel extensively in Vietnam and also abroad

• Good English language skills for internal communication

• Problem solving competence

• Basic organisation and time management skills

• Ability to work under pressure
