Objectives: Leading and executing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies for Studio theatrical releases in Vietnam. Working closely with the Head of Distribution and Studio’s regional and global marketing teams, this role develops and delivers localized campaigns that align with global brand standards, while maximizing audience engagement, box office results, and media visibility in the local market.
1. Marketing Strategy & Planning
• Evaluate upcoming film content to define positioning, target audiences, and key marketing hooks.
• Conduct SWOT and competitive landscape analysis to inform campaign strategy and tactical planning.
• Collaborate with the Head of Distribution to define release strategies, including box office forecasting, promotional budgets, and geographic rollout.
• Lead internal brainstorming sessions to generate creative marketing ideas and in-season tactics.
• Work directly with Studio - Southeast Asia to develop and secure approval for marketing proposals, timelines, and budgets.
2. Campaign Development & Execution
• Create integrated marketing campaigns encompassing both media and non-media components, including:
• Media Strategy: TVC, print, digital, mobile, SMS, social media, OOH, FOH
• Non-Media Strategy: Publicity, cinema promotions, premieres, merchandise partnerships, influencer outreach, and special PR events
• Manage localization of all marketing and publicity materials in alignment with global campaign assets.
• Includes creative adaptation of posters, trailers, flyers, banners, standees, press kits, interviews, behind-the-scenes content, and social media assets.
• Ensure seamless execution of all marketing activities within defined timelines and approved budgets.
• Provide post-campaign evaluations and performance analysis based on box office revenue, media reach, and ROI.
3. Cross-functional & Stakeholder Coordination
• Liaise closely with Studio’s regional and global marketing teams to ensure campaign consistency and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal departments including Sales, CPR, Distribution, and Creative to align execution plans.
• Coordinate with media agencies, production vendors, KOLs, and promotional partners.
4. Crisis & Issue Management
• Monitor and manage risks related to negative reviews, public sentiment, or potential PR crises.
• Respond quickly with in-season marketing adjustments and mitigation strategies post-release.
5. Other Responsibilities
• Support other tasks as assigned by the Head of Distribution and contribute to cross-departmental projects when needed.
Yêu cầu công việc
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in film marketing, entertainment, advertising, or digital media at the same position
• Strong understanding of digital and social platforms (e.g., Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.) and how to activate campaigns effectively on each.
• Proven ability to plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns with creativity and strategic insight.
• Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills in both English and Vietnamese.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
• Highly collaborative, adaptable, and solution-oriented; able to work across departments and external stakeholders.
• Confidence in dealing with senior executives and navigating matrixed organizations.
• A proactive, energetic, and resourceful attitude with a passion for cinema and storytelling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with creative tools or marketing dashboards is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to the evolving needs of a fast-paced industry.
