Finance Controller

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis

- Oversee preparation and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

- Provide financial analysis to assess the performance and forecast future financial outcomes

- Review and analyze monthly reports, including Sales, COGS, and Gross Margin (GM) templates

- Consolidate weekly bank balance, cash flow, AR/AP reports and monthly BFC reporting

- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership for strategic decision-making

2. Budgeting & Forecasting

- Lead the annual budgeting process and provide regular forecasting updates to Board of Director

- Work closely with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets

- Forecasting future performance, and using this information to help with budgeting and strategic planning

3. Cash Flow Management

- Oversee cash flow management

- Identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them

4. Internal Controls & Compliance

- Ensuring that financial institutions operate within legal and ethical boundaries

- Establish financial policies and procedures that can adapt to different business models

- Develop the internal processes, financial systems, and monitoring systems for key business risks

5. Team Leadership

- Manage and mentor a team of accountants and financial analysts

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial objectives

6. Systems & Process Improvement

- Improve the financial systems, processes, and reporting tools

- Implement financial software solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency of reporting

- Establish data quality and control mechanisms

- Create documentation standards and procedures

- Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Accounting, and Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA)

- 6+ years of progressive finance experience, with a strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting

- At least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role

- Must be fluent in English

- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and Finance/ Accounting Software (MISA, ERP, Fast)

- Experience in F&B and Hospitality industry is a required

- Working efficiently under time constraints and meeting tight deadlines
