Finance Director

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Director to lead the financial planning, analysis, and control functions for our growing BPO company. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the BPO industry's financial intricacies, including pricing models, cost control, contract management, and global operations. This role will play a key part in supporting executive decision-making and driving long-term financial sustainability and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the financial strategy, planning, and forecasting processes to support company growth and profitability.

- Oversee all accounting, budgeting, cash flow, and audit functions to ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.

- Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.

- Develop and manage key financial metrics relevant to the BPO industry such as cost-per-seat, utilization rates, revenue-per-FTE, and client profitability.

- Collaborate with business unit leaders to develop pricing models and commercial proposals for new and existing clients.

- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to the executive team, board of directors, and external stakeholders.

- Lead tax planning, compliance, and liaise with tax authorities and external auditors.

- Evaluate financial risks and opportunities, and recommend solutions to optimize cost structures and operational efficiencies.

- Implement and maintain strong internal controls, financial systems, and procedures.

- Support strategic initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, international expansions, or major technology investments.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA, CFA, CPA, ACCA preferred).

- Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior finance role within the BPO or outsourcing industry.

- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, tax planning, and corporate governance.

- Demonstrated experience in managing multi-site, multi-currency, and global financial operations.

- Hands-on experience with financial systems and data analytics tools.

- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-centric environment with cross-functional teams.

- Fluency in English and excellent communication skill are required.

- Candidates with overseas education and employment background are preferred.

Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with BPO-specific financial KPIs and contract structures (e.g., FTE-based, transaction-based pricing).

- Experience managing business units across geographies.

- Proactive and adaptable mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
