Finance Manager - Clean Energy and Renewable Sectors

The Finance Manager will work with a portfolio of operating companies within the business to be the Finance liaison working with both external service providers and internal stakeholders. You will own the budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to offer strategic financial insight into business decisions such as business expansion opportunities, cost saving initiatives, process improvement initiatives, and more as the business continues to grow.

Description

Financial Planning & Analysis

* Present strategic financial reports, conduct financial analysis to support investment decisions, monitor key financial metrics, and offer insights for business growth and process improvements.

* Develop and manage the annual budget, create financial forecasts and models, and monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts.

* Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and compliance with global accounting standards and internal policies.

Accounting, Taxation and Cash-Flow Management

* Efficiently manage and optimize cash flow and liquidity, ensuring adequate funding for projects and operations.

* Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and policies to ensure full compliance.

* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, implement internal controls, and develop risk mitigation strategies.

* Supervise and review the performance of the team and provide guidance and training where necessary.

Project Company Establishment

* Revise and implement existing company policies to ensure full compliance in Vietnam.

* Maintain strong relationships with debt providers and competitive banks for project funding.

* Collaborate with legal counsel on fund structuring and VAT tax payments.

Profile

* Over 8 years in finance roles with exposure to various areas, including accounting, financial planning, analysis, and taxation, with 2 years in a managerial position.

* Proven experience in setting up corporate entities in Vietnam, including securing necessary licenses, approvals, and permits.

* Thorough understanding of project finance in Vietnam, particularly regulations related to debt and equity funding.

* Strong abilities in communication, persuasion, and presentation; skilled in interacting with individuals at different organizational levels.

* In-depth knowledge of Vietnamese accounting and tax laws, and their business implications.

* Proficient with office software like Excel, PowerPoint, and automated accounting or ERP systems.
