SUMMARY

Key responsibilities of this role include managing budgets, preparing financial forecasts, developing annual plans, producing monthly management reports, and conducting financial analysis to support business decisions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Extract data from internal systems to prepare the weekly forecast and GMV report with all product lines

• Reconcile data to ensure the accuracy and completeness

• Support monthly closing process: ensure ready data for revenue recognition and expense accrual

• Prepare monthly management report by separate and consolidation level Profitability by unit economics, products, channels and legal entity

• Perform financial analysis to identify key drivers for improvements

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Review and approve budget requests daily, analyze the efficiency and provide recommendation for optimization if needed

• Evaluate all sales schemes and promotion programs

• Monitor budget usage report, track the gap between actual and plan

• Weekly, half-year forecast to reflect actual performance and update financial plan for the remaining year

• Work closely with department heads to prepare annual financial plan (budget) for short-term and long-term goals which align with company strategies and directions

3. Fundraising Support:

• Liaise with external stakeholders to understand business model and build financial model accordingly

• Work with accounting team to provide required information for due diligence

REQUIREMENTS

• Good presentation

• Good in Excel, Powerpoint, and PBI

• SQL query is a plus

• Experience in the Fintech industry is a plus

• Good at English

• Deep knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles

• 2-4 years of working experience in the related position

• Experience in Auditing, Financial Due Diligence, Valuation, and Modelling are preferred

• Bachelor degree, ACCA or CMA professional certificate is a plus

• Good communication skills; be confident interacting with cross-business functions and various management levels
