Financial Accountant

Role Objectives:

To provide efficient and effective assistance to general accounting practices,

including inventories control, fixed assets management, month-end and year-

end reporting, reconciliations, preparing audits, and tax.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain & reconcile sales in JDE

• Liaise with licensor & internal parties

• Prepare royalty journals and payment vouchers

• Prepare debit/credit notes to vendors & inter-company

• Prepare royalty and tariff reports and summary on a quarterly basis

• Ensure all necessary payment supporting are received in compliance with

Moose standard

• Assist with cash flow management and forecast, update bank balance

control sheet

• Prepare month end closing journals & balance sheet reconciliation

• Assist in the adoption and implementation process of accounting policies

to adhere to the relevant group compliance procedure and regulatory

requirements

• Assist in internal and external audit, review and other financial control

procedures

• Perform ad hoc task and presentations, support special project and

system enhancement as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Business Studies or equivalent

• CA/CPA (or equivalent) qualified

• 3+ years in Accounting position, preferably in Big4 companies

• Good command in written and spoken English is essential. Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an advantage.

• Good understanding of financial accounting functions and processes; demonstration of financial awareness, cost control, and thinking in terms of profit, loss and added value

• Experience with Microsoft Office suite and accounting software such as JDE/Oracle.

• Strong knowledge of inventories management; problem-solving skills using technology and AI

• Good team player and able to work independently
