Financial Manager

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: Responsible for US GAAP and local financial reporting and financial analysis, internal controls, business process improvement, providing advisory and support service to local and corporate management teams, compliance, risk management; Proactively contract with external regulators and auditors to support business operations. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: - Manage the company’s accounting processes, lead the accounting team and work with management team for monthly/quarterly/annual reporting; - Establish and maintain effective internal control procedures and systems in accordance with corporate policies and generally accepted accounting principles; - Continuously review the company business activities and processes to evaluate the risk and prepare mitigation process; - Provide analytical service to support business decision making and support company to execute effectively; - Lead the accounting/finance department locally. Maintains financial staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; - Cooperate with China sister company team to quick learning China experiences; - Manage the process for audit, tax, customs and treasury management; - Establish forecast and budgeting process and target across organization and drive the forecasting and budget results; - Continuously identify opportunities to improve profitability of the business; - Assist management in driving financial and operational accountability throughout the organization; - Support management team with ad hoc reporting requests, profitability analysis, strategic analysis, global projects and others duties as assigned; - Direct the function of information systems.

QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor degree or above in Accountancy, Finance or its equivalent, CPA preferred; - At least 8 years progressive experience in financial management in multinational firms and/or accounting of manufacturing processes/Accounting firms; - US Accounting Standard experience preferred; - Exposure to controlling, consulting functions and planning activities; - Numerically strong and comfortable with high-technology PC work environment; ERP experience; - Mature personality with a strong degree of ability to communicate with all levels of the organization; - Pro-active, independent and a quick learner; - Vietnamese and Fluent English Speaking.
