Financial Reporting Accountant

ABOUT THIS POSITION

Reporting:

• Prepare financial statements and assist in the consolidation of multiple entities.

• Review audit reports and ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across reports.

• Control and manage closing process of subsidiaries / associates.

• Review the reporting packages made by subsidiaries / associates accounting teams.

• Conduct analysis and provide explanation on major variances every month.

• Contribute to develop the regional’s accounting manual and reporting guidelines.

• Liaison with FP&A for monthly business review, ensure the quality and timeline of the report.

• Collaborate with subsidiaries / associates accounting teams to ensure completeness, accuracy and timely submission of statutory financial statements, taxes and internal financial reports.

• Prepare and develops special managerial reports as required.

Accounting Policy & Procedures

• Support in developing and maintaining internal policies and procedures on accounting, tax, and internal control for organization and finance department.

• Responsible for improvement of existing accounting practices, procedures, and ensure good internal control by seeking best practices within the accounting function and organization.

• Ensure compliances with country regulations and group policies.

Project

• Engage in projects such as ERP implementation or enhancement.

• Other ad-hoc projects as required.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and auditing and and have at least 3 years of experience in financial reporting

• Commitment to meet deadlines and achieve results in difficult circumstances

• Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions including strong communication

• Business mindset with business goal orientation

• Work independently and manager reviews complex work only

• Strong knowledge in IFRS, internal control and taxation

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to extract, compile and analyze data.

• Good at excel spread sheet is a must

• Good in English
