Fixed Asset and Cost Accountant (Senior & Management Level)

a. Asset Management:

- Check and record all costs related to company assets; follow up and record any increase or decrease of assets (allocation, transfer, etc.).

- Create asset and tool codes, and give the codes to other departments.

- Work with other departments to do asset inventory checks (sudden checks or yearly checks).

- Check the data quality related to asset master data management.

- Make reports about assets: asset explanation, capitalized interest cost, depreciation for budget, reports of asset changes/inventory/usage analysis.

b. Cost Calculation, Accounting & Analysis

- Collect, check, and summarize data from departments to make sure the information is correct and complete for cost calculation.

- Calculate product cost, review if the calculation is reasonable, and compare cost changes over time.

- Compare actual cost with budget and standard cost, and analyze the differences for management purposes.

- Control the in–out–stock of goods and materials in the system.

c. Reporting: 

- Make reports about assets: asset explanation, capitalized interest cost, depreciation for budget, reports of asset changes/inventory/usage analysis.

- Make product cost reports and analyze costs by product, production line, and department.

- Support internal audit, external audit, and tax authorities when needed.

d. Other Tasks:

- Support other accounting tasks when assigned.

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or related fields.

Experience:

- At least 4 years of experience in asset/cost accounting.

- Prefer candidates with experience in manufacturing companies, large corporations, or using SAP system.

Knowledge & Skills:- Good understanding of accounting rules and standards.

- Good Excel skills; able to analyze and summarize data.

- Careful, honest, responsible, able to work independently and in a team.

Language:

- Basic English communication skills.
