FM & IE Manager

General Responsibility:

Responsibility for the Process Engineering, Maintenance, Safety & Environment of MAGNETEC Vietnam

• Follow the general compliance rules

• Tasks are done in time and according to internal rules or according to demand of superior

• Work, safety and fire and environment regulations are known and kept

• Company owned properties (devices) are used reasonably and according to regulation

• Quality and environmental management system are known, and their regulations are respected

• Responsible for the timely performance of the tasks assigned to him in accordance with the requirements set out in the relevant legislation, standards, internal instructions and instructions of his superior

• Responsible for the proper and professional use of the materials, tools and equipment provided

• Responsible for the continuous improvement of processes within his department

a. Process Section

• Define process with suitable machine, tooling, jig to achieve optimized process for all product

• Build up work instruction effectively for all step in process for all product inside factory

• Lead team to set up PFD, PFMEA and control plan for all product

• Continuously improve the process, driving Kaizen activities in process

• Apply Lean manufacturing concept in process to improve productivity on shopfloor

• Manage routing for each product on ERP system effectively and timely

• Deal with Engineering Change actively with end-to-end process.

• Key member in trouble shooting of quality issue on shopfloor, drive root cause analysis and improvement

• Prepare, improve equipment, tooling, Jig for current product and new NPI

• Continuously study technology trend in major, propose new solution, approach to business.

• Prepare Capex and Opex for Engineering team

• Manage and develop manufacturing engineering team daily.

b. Maintenance Section

• Manage the maintenance and repair activity of production machine, utility system and building infrastructure.

• Define the KPI for maintenance such as downtime, MTTR, MTBF, Energy usage and drive to achieve.

• Define maintenance program for factory including PM, CM, TPM and implementing successfully, coordinating with cross function.

• Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met during maintenance activity

• Continue training and coaching maintenance team for technical expertise

• Plan efficiently the resources of the maintenance such as labour, budget (Capex and Opex) to deploy maintenance plan successfully.

• Ensure continuous improvement equipment to improve stability

• Manage assets function as tooling, spare part, consumable as company policy

• Liaises and represents the Company in matters related to its field of expertise to external partners, authorities and other organizations.

• Checks for health and safety regulations and compliance with regulations

c. Safety & Environmental.

• Build PPE Matrix and deploy for the whole company

• Review the SRA from functions and approve.

• Ensure all the machine and utility system in factory comply with government regulation about environmental.

• Work with government function such as environmental officer, firefighting police

Work specific competence:

• Degree in electrical engineering, automation or equivalent from HUST, Maritime University, Industrial University.

• Broad knowledge and at least 5 years professional experience in leading production in an internationally operating company with a strong focus on manual operation processes

• Strong understanding of manufacturing process such as drying, annealing, winding wire and maintenance pillars.

• An open and empowering management style, can provide clear directions, communicate objectives effectively and concisely.

• Ensures the operation of the integrated management system in accordance with the requirements of the current ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO18001, ISO45001, ISO50001 and IATF16949.

• Continuously develop KPIs and drive to success

• Preparation and presentation of documentation and reports

• Provides support to production areas and cooperation partners

• Holds in-house training in his field

Requirements (qualification, education, language skills, knowledge, experience):

• Ability to work under pressure, convincing and a trusted partner

• Good technical problem-solving skills to stabilize processes and product quality

• Pragmatic with a "hands-on approach “with “can do” attitude

• Constructive leader with ability to bring multiple functions and perspectives together.

• Business English communication proficiency

• 3- 5 years managerial experience

• Office suite proficiency, ERP platform familiar.

• Knowledge of the laws, regulations, standards, standards and internal instructions and regulations applicable to the job

• Proactive, teamwork player behaviour

• Logical thinking, familiar with different trouble shooting methodologies

• Familiar with QC tools.
