Fraud Prevention Officer - Credit Card

Monitoring and Handling Fraudulent Transactions:

- Track and process suspicious card transactions on CMS systems.

- Review and unlock cards that were locked due to being unable to contact the cardholder for fraud verification.

- Investigate fraudulent activities related to cardholder transactions with fraud complaints.

- Handle card information exposure cases reported by Visa/Mastercard/JCB or card associations.

- Track, manage, and summarize unusual transactions from merchants.

- Investigate and recommend handling measures for fraudulent merchants.

- Propose adjustments and additional rules for the CMS systems.

- Generate investigation reports related to fraud transactions.

Reporting

- Prepare periodic fraud reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) for card issuance and payment.

- Create ad-hoc fraud reports as needed.

Other Tasks

- Investigating suspicious applications from personal loan, auto loan or sale – finance product.

- Perform other tasks as assigned by the department head.

Qualification:

- University Graduate, major in Police, Security, Math, Statistics, MIS, Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.

Experience:

- At least two year of experience in credit card transactions monitoring and payment operations.

Knowledge:

- General knowledge of card operations.

- Expertise in settlement processes, complaint handling, and risk management in card operations.

- Familiarity with card transaction processing systems and card fraud trends.

Skills:

- Proficiency in office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and computer network systems (LAN, Internet).

- English proficiency (both spoken and written).

- Negotiation and persuasion skills.

- Problem-solving abilities.

- Analytical and information synthesis skills.
