The position objective of GenE Business Development Manager:
• Manage and monitor the daily sales activities at Team level, coach and train the sales force.
• Be responsible of team assigned business targets and ensure the professionalism and sales quality in the assigned team are met.
1. Sales management responsibilities (40%)
- Manage/Lead a team of Financial Planning Specialist GenE in the assigned areas/team on daily basis to ensure the assigned business targets achieved
- Be responsible of overall production, productivity, coaching and development of GenE Specialists in the assigned areas. Proactively look at the neglected areas of the team and provide improvements accordingly
- Attract/Recruit qualified GenE Specialists to expand the team.
- Be responsible to handle customer complaints if possible or be the key contact point for any customer feedback/complaints towards the company.
2. Relationship management (20%)
- Build up closely relationship at areas levels to ensure the business results are developed
- Build up good cooperation with internal departments
3. Training activities (20%)
- Be responsible of delivering soft skill and techniques of sales cycle in order to improve the quality and professionalism of sales staffs
- Be able to conduct/organize sales seminars, group presentation, customer events
4. Activity management (20%)
- Responsible for planning and executing customer activities to generate referrals and leads
- Plan business activity calendar with GenE Team and ensure smooth execution
- Support “Pilot” initiatives undertaken by GenE Channel to explore new opportunities of business and help drive these initiatives to write business

- Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of Business Development experience in life insurance with successful track records
- Skills:
• Exhibit ability to deliver effective communication and excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership qualities and a mind towards excellence
• Analytical and strong problem-solving abilities
• Dynamic individual who strives in fast moving environment
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, communication (written and verbal), presentation, and relationship management skills; with a high degree of tact.
