General Accountant

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation and practices, as well as a passion for the craft beer industry.

DUTDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- In charge of monthly stock-take of input/output/costing according to company regulations & monthly internal audit of transactions;

- Prepare for Tax reports such as CIT, PIT, WHT, VAT for reviewing and approval before submitting to Tax; Constantly update current tax regulations;

- Manage invoice issuing, tax reconciliation and work with Tax officer on annual tax assessment, VAT refund and CIT finalization;

- Review all accounting entries, prepare balance sheet, income statement account reconciliations

- Work and support auditors on quarterly and annual audits on the required documents/ reports;

- Reviewing the journal vouchers for payroll, accruals & rental expenses;

- Be responsible to ensure all accounting transactions are fully & correctly and updated on system;

- Prepare, register, follow up and renewal with the state bank or local bank related to foreign loans or inter-loans;

- Handle full sets of account AR, AP, Bank reconciliation, Petty cash, Staff claims, Payment Advance, Accruals, Loan, GL accounts included but not limited to receive and inspect all documents for payment application against the company chart of authority and budget control;

- Following up & adjusting the accounting software based on the company’s requirements. Make sure all entries have been updated accurately in the system on monthly closing date;

- Prepare and check and filling accounting voucher of cash & bank, sales, Debit note, Letter, AR statement, invoice, contracts, import docs, payroll, tax, other receivables and payables;

- Supporting the Chief Accountant in handling spectrum of financial & cost accounting role to ensure that they all comply with the current accounting regulations and effective finance controls.

- Other reports/ tasks required by the team/ Chief Accountant or other upper management team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• CPA certification preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles in F&B company

• Proficiency in accounting software (MISA) and Microsoft Excel

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
