General Accountant

To ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with internal controls, and support finance operations

1. Accounting Management

- Maintain general ledger accounts, including journal preparation.

- Reconcile general ledger and supporting documentation.

- Ensure all balance sheet accounts are valid, accurate, and complete.

- Review and validate Capex-related purchase requisitions in line with group policies.

- Monitor and report on fixed assets.

- Review and monitor intercompany transactions.

2. Cash Management

- Perform internal and external banking transactions.

- Regularly review bank open items to ensure timely reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.

3. Financial Closing & Progress Monitoring

- Manage updates and maintenance of period-end and year-end closing schedules.

- Deliver processes in scope according to agreed KPI requirements.

- Provide regular updates to the manager on process completion and any escalations.

4. Internal Controls & Audit Support

- Implement and maintain an effective Internal Control System (ICS).

- Conduct assigned controls and store evidence per Group/Division ICS policy.

- Support internal and external audit activities.

- Provide accounting technical support in collaboration with Accounting Governance.

5. Stakeholder Engagement

- Engage regularly with country teams and shared services for process inputs and outputs.

- Coordinate with stakeholders for required follow-ups.

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field

- Minimum 3 years of experience in general accountant roles, strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

- Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel,and Word

- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication and time management skills

- Good in English and relevant other languages as required Vietnamese

- The candidate should demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to learn, especially in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

- The candidate with proactive, precise and honest personality.

- Proven analytical skills, including the ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights, are required.

- Experience of using Oracle Cloud would be a preference.
