General Accountant

• Perform daily accounting duties.

• To assist with month end closing and accounting schedule.

• Prepare and submit tax filings, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.

• To provide clerical and administrative support to trading and operations team; including filing and data entry, issuing trading papers and invoices, etc.

• Assist with audits and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies identified.

• Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.

• To handle ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Effective communication skills to present financial data clearly.

• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in the marine or logistics industry is a plus.
