General Accountant

Job Responsibilities

Manage all basic accounting functions for the Vietnam office, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

Handle all local payroll processing for Vietnam staff, ensuring timely and accurate calculation of salaries, benefits, and deductions.

Manage monthly social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment contributions and reporting in compliance with Vietnamese labor laws.

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.

Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations in Vietnam.

Communicate daily with our Korean Headquarters and our Thai parent company to report on financial status, address any discrepancies, and ensure accounting processes are aligned with global standards.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Participate in internal and external audits as required.

Handle other accounting-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Proven experience in an accounting role.

Proven experience or strong knowledge of processing payroll and statutory deductions/reporting in Vietnam.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Excellent communication skills in both English and Korean are a must.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
