Giám Đốc Logistics Cho Nhà Máy Nước Ngoài/ Logistics Director for Global Manufacturing

I. Position Overview

· The Logistics Director will act as the partner providing Logistics service for all Manufacturing, Sales, Quality, and other functional departments within the Company and as a consultant of Finance and Accounting related to Tax, Import-Export and Foreign Trade Payments. Leading Logistics team to ensure that department goals are met and exceeded across all areas: safety, human resources, quality, and cost-optimization initiatives.

· Responsible for setting up and operating the Logistics activities related to Import-Export, Inbound and Outbound Transporation, Warehousing covering the receipt, storage and transportation of all goods (parts, finished goods, spare parts) as requested by Manufacturing and Sales.

II. Position Responsibilities

· Responsible for setting up and operation of the network of Warehouses, Inbound and Outbound transportation as well as other functions of Logsitics to ensure quality service provision meeting company manufacturing and sales’ needs, including but not limited to 3PL selection and management, warehouse infrastructure and internal-plant material flow set up, system and data management, personnel organization, related processes building…

· Manage and operate the company's import-export activities, optimize the amount of tax payable and tax refund. Take part in providing Company’s opinion to related government authorities in modifying/ publishing legal documents in the direction of tax optimization for the Company.

· Make sure financial KPIs of Cost per Unit (CPU) and Hour per Unit (HPU) are met and exceeding target.

· Responsible for the Inventory Accuracy of the Plant.

· Organize payment activities for Suppliers, ensuring on time payments.

· Take a leading role in PIV (Pedestrian and Industrial Vehicle) safety procedures for people and vehicles within areas in charge.

· Ensure all Programs must meet the 3 evaluation criteria of successful vehicle release: on time, good quality and meet all financial targets.

· Select, train, and develop human resources to ensure efficient operation and achievement of the team KPI and company's targets. Consider people development as a core value to develop future leaders for sustainability.

· Empower and support the team, remove obstacles to improve the working environment.

· Coordinate with Manufacturing and Sales team to develop and apply strategies to provide Value added to Manufacturing and Sales.

Education/Professional Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree (major in Supply Chain or Business is preferred).

Skills and experience:

· At least 10 years of experience in Logistics in high scale manufacturing plants, preferably with management experience in automobile factories.

· Experienced in setting up new warehouses and logistics activities, developing and successfully applying Material Management system, and lean and efficient operation.

· Extensive experience and knowledge in building transportation network and managing global 3PL providing transportation and warehousing services

· Deep experience and knowledge in Supply Chain management, SAP systems, and (WMS) warehouse management systems.

· Good knowledge of local law in a general and in-depth understanding of Import-Export and Tax in the based country.

· Strong leadership and negotiation skill. Highly motivated, proactive, and willing to work under pressure. Always demonstrate the ability to execute in a multinational environment.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
