Graphic Designer (Hybrid)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Responsible for developing conceptual and production art for products, programs and specified projects. Produces artwork and records which provide the technical background necessary for production of customer requests and/or Embelex concepts. Provide technical support as needed.

Activities may include, but are not limited to:

- Creates concepts for customer products, programs and specified projects. Refines graphic designs to meet customer needs or project specifications.

- Creates artwork and designs for Embelex portfolio of products that meet specific customer needs and requirements as well as product specifications. Refines or redesigns product as required.

- Works closely with MDM’s, Sales, Merchandising and customers to interpret customer needs and translate those needs into organizational capabilities and specifications.

- Assesses incoming requests to validate conformance to design parameters and technical specifications. Designs, configures and modifies product design to ensure the alignment of customer requirements and company capabilities.

- Utilizes art and design templates that standardize methods of manufacture to meet a variety of customer demands, including performance characteristics, cost parameters, material selection and product build techniques. Works with product design engineering in a coordinated effort to maximize design elements, meet cost parameters and ensure manufacturability.

- Prepares digital files, art templates and technical records in accordance with company specifications and standards.

- Communicate with Senior Level account representatives on the link key value propositions and differentiators with Embelex solutions

- Vet and qualify programs and build a rolling pipeline

- Stay abreast of industry trends by attending trade shows, events and staying on top of market insights as well as global branding trends

- Surface new ideas, product applications and solutions to development teams

- Explore technologies that could complement our offerings as part of a thought-leadership effort

- Collaborate with other business units to evaluate volume, identify trends, and ensure quality

- Ability to understand customer objectives and translate complexity into solution requirements

- Detail-oriented with strong project management and organizational skills required

- Strong influencing skills and storytelling skills, and ability to champion projects both cross functionally and vertically within the organization

- Ability to perform technical product trainings to customers and internal teams

- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, presentation, interpersonal, and virtual

- The ability to be able to self-direct and work with minimal supervision

- Ability to travel frequently and the ability to lead impactful virtual selling and marketing events

- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Graphic Design from four-year college or university; and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, technical or associates degree, and experience, preferred
