Group Financial Controller

Key Responsibility:

1. Accounting Policy and Internal Control

• Develop and maintain group-wide accounting, tax, and internal control policies.

• Improve existing accounting and finance practices and ensure strong internal controls.

• Ensure compliance with all local regulations, tax requirements, and applicable accounting standards.

• Identify and implement best practices to reduce financial risks.

• Address audit recommendations and ensure corrective actions and full compliance.

2. Reporting and Consolidation

• Review managerial reporting packages from all group entities and ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Coordinate closely with FP&A on monthly business reviews and ensure report quality and timelines.

• Oversee timely submission of statutory financial statements, tax reports, and internal reports.

• Manage routine cash flow reporting at both country and group level.

• Analyze cash flow performance, identify variances, and drive cash flow optimization.

3. Tax Management

• Review and oversee all tax matters at country and group level.

• Ensure compliance and optimization of WHT, DTAA, and tax planning across entities.

• Provide guidance on tax risks, exposure, and mitigation.

4. Team Management and Coordination

• Lead and supervise the management accounting teams across entities.

• Promote collaboration, communication, and alignment between countries and group finance.

• Report team performance, highlight issues, and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Elevate critical matters to management with well-prepared proposals or solutions.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/ Finance management or related fields.

• At least 5-10 years of controlling experience management or supervisory experienced in accounting& finance role. Background Big 4, Retail, FMCG (no real estate or banking)

• Experience in Group/regional level

• Strong knowledge in accounting standard IFRS, internal control and taxation

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to extract, compile and analyze data.

• Good interpersonal skill
