Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Sales Manager to lead and oversee the General Trade sales team for our company. As the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets for our range of personal care products in the General Trade channel across the country.



Key Responsibilities:



• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company's sales targets

• Lead, manage, and motivate the General Trade sales team to meet or exceed sales objectives

• Build distributing systems

• Monitor and analyze sales progress, promotion expenses, and competitors to propose sales/ promotion plans to achieve maximum sales volume of different brands and products.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and channel partners

• Monitor sales performance against targets and take corrective actions as necessary

• Conduct regular market research and analysis to identify market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities

• Work closely with other functional teams to ensure product availability, stock management, and promotions are executed effectively

• Develop and manage budgets, forecast sales, and prepare reports for management

• Plan, organize, manage, and direct all sales activities for regional markets to achieve the planned targets for sales volume, market share, product mix, coverage, and profit margins.



Job requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA is a plus.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in FMCG sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

• Strong knowledge and experience in the General Trade channel, with a proven track record of sales success.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and channel partners.
