Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive, service-oriented IT SUPPORT OFFICER to join our technical team. This is a fresher-level role designed for a motivated individual who is eager to start their career in IT support. You will be the first point of contact for our teammates, ensuring their digital tools work seamlessly so they can focus on our mission of moving people through sport.
The ideal candidate possesses a genuine "sense of service," a positive attitude, and a solid foundational knowledge of Windows environments. We value your potential and your desire to learn just as much as your technical skills.
This position will be handled for THIRD-PARTY CONTRACT.
Key Responsibilities:
User Support & Troubleshooting: Act as the primary support for teammates by resolving issues related to software and hardware devices (e.g. laptop, mobile).
Software & Hardware Installation: Manage the installation and configuration of software, primarily on Windows laptops (95% of devices), and handle printer setups.
Conference Room Management: Ensure all Video Conferencing (VC) devices and meeting room setups are functional and ready for use.
Device Deployment: Manage the lifecycle of hardware, including installing/reinstalling Windows OS on laptops, integrating them into the company system, and setting up mobile devices (tablets/phones).
Ticket Management: Maintain organized records by creating and managing support tickets to ensure timely resolution of all user requests.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure technical feedback informs internal service improvements.

Experience: This is a fresher/entry-level position. No prior professional experience is required, though a passion for technology is essential.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Windows 11 and basic computer knowledge, including OS settings and Google Workspace.
Language Skills: Basic English proficiency to communicate within a global environment.
Sense of Service: A genuine desire to help users and maintain a professional demeanor under pressure.
Organized & Detail-Oriented: Ability to track multiple tasks and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Proactive Learner: You are not afraid to ask questions to deepen your understanding.
Positive Outlook: A cheerful and resilient attitude toward problem-solving.
Flexibility: Able to support occasional urgent tasks or store events outside standard office hours.
A basic understanding of network connectivity and cloud-based applications.
Diploma/Certificate in IT or related field.
