Head of Development - Dev Head

Key Responsibilities:

• Own all software development activities fully, ensuring team efficiency and product quality.

• Define and drive the software development strategy in alignment with the company’s business and technology goals.

• Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and sustainable software architectures and solutions.

• Ensure strict Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) adherence and apply effective project management methodologies.

• Work closely with Tester, PMO, PQA… teams to ensure seamless coordination and effectiveness in product development.

• Lead talent development initiatives, including training, coaching, and retaining top engineering talent.

• Ensure security standards and regulatory compliance are applied throughout the software development process.

• Continuously monitor and recommend adopting emerging technologies, driving workflow improvements and enhancing overall performance and product quality.

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading product/software development teams (as Head of IT / Head of Technology / Delivery Director…) in the Securities industry.

• Extensive knowledge of software development processes, system architecture, and software product lifecycle management.

• Strong experience and deep expertise in modern software development technologies, including Microservices architecture, APIs, DevOps, and CI/CD.

• Proven track record in building, leading, and developing high-performing software development teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

• Strong ability to solve complex technical issues with a solution-oriented and results-driven mindset.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when required.
