Head of Studies for STEM

WORKPLACE: Gamuda Gardens, Yen So, Hoang Mai, Hanoi

WORKING TIME: From Monday to Friday (8am - 5pm)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop and update curriculum and resources for STEM, Robotics and Coding.

• Review the implementation of STEM Education and Robotics and Coding across schools.

• Provide regular feedback to the Director of Education on STEM, Robotics and Coding educational matters including changes to curriculum, teaching methods, initiatives in education and training areas, new education developments and trends.

• Develop and lead training of teachers in the area of STEM, robotics and coding through training workshops, classroom observations, feedback and mentoring.

• Co-ordinate STEM, robotics and coding competitions across SIS schools and promote student involvement in regional, national and international competitions.

• Compile photos and information about STEM, robotics and coding lessons and achievements in schools to share with Marketing and prepare an annual STEM report.

• Identify and facilitate partnership networks with Industry and Institutions of Higher learning in STEM fields.

• A Degree in one of following relevant fields of study: Mathematics, Physics, Technology and Engineering.

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience preferred in work related to STEM and/or Robotics and/or Coding.

• Good command of English.

• Experience in developing and running STEM / Robotics curriculum programmes for K-12 students is an advantage.

• Experience working in a laboratory, computer skills and using advanced coding skills in a programming language (Python, Scratch…) is preferred.
