POSITION SUMMARY

Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials and products.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1 Warehouse Operations Management

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials and products.

• Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and safety.

• Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of products.

2 Inventory Control

• Manage inventory levels to ensure accurate stock counts and availability of materials.

• Implement and maintain inventory control systems to track stock movements and minimize discrepancies.

• Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile any differences.

3 Team Leadership

• Lead, manage, and mentor the knitting team, including machine operators and technicians.

• Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.

• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.

4 Logistics Coordination

• Coordinate with the procurement and production teams to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of materials.

• Plan and oversee the logistics of incoming and outgoing shipments.

• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and transport companies.

5 Safety and Compliance

• Ensure all warehouse operations comply with health and safety regulations.

• Promote a culture of safety within the warehouse.

• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.

6 Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance warehouse operations.

• Monitor and analyze warehouse performance data to drive continuous improvement.

7 Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of all warehouse transactions and activities.

• Prepare and present reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and warehouse performance to management.

• Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Professional Qualifications

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics.

Years of Work Experience

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in a fabric mill or similar environment.

Technical Skills

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
