RESPONSIBILITIES

• In charge of the design, development, and optimization of scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.

• Architect and manage data storage solutions, including databases and data warehouses.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver robust data solutions.

• Implement and enforce data quality and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

• Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and senior data engineers.

• Drive the adoption of best practices in data engineering and data governance.

• Lead and participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes related to data infrastructure.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role

• Proven experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams (for Lead position)

• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

• Extensive experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data modeling and data architecture design.

• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.

• Familiarity with machine learning and data science concepts.

• Experience in strategic planning and project management.
