[HO] - Corporate Action Specialist - Securities Service Department

Objective

- Responsible for daily operations of Corporate Action and Fee collection

- To provide comprehensive custody services to effectively maintain customer satisfaction with securities services

Roles & Responsibilities

1) Corporate Action (CA)

• Follow VSDC announcements on corporate events then advise customer accordingly;

• Follow-up and perform customer's instruction within agreed agreement and before market deadlines;

• Record, follow-up and allocate entitlement to Clients related to corporate actions of unlisted securities;

• Assist clients with their queries concerning the detail of corporate actions and related issues.

2) Fee collection

• Record the agreed tariff of each Client

• Build-up fee invoices and bill to Clients within agreed schedule;

• Perform fee settlement based on Clients' instructions;

3) Others

• Perform broker confirmation;

• Maintain network with other custodian bank, securities companies, VSDC (esp. Registration Dept.), Settlement Banks (BIDV, VCB);

• Work with IT and external vendor to implement or improve various types of software programs, interfaces, and processes within the scope of work;

• Cooperate with other departments within the Bank for report/operation within the scope of work;

• Carry out other duties as assigned by Director/Line Manager.

Education

- Bachelor/Master degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Auditing or relevant fields

- At least 3-5 years experience of finance-banking industry

Experience

- Experience in Securities Services of Custodian bank preferred

Knowledge, Skill &Abilities

- Knowledge of Securities Market products and Accounting

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

- Experience in problem solving skills

- Client focus, accountability, professional attitude, pro-active

- Sense of urgency, crisis-management and good analytical skills

- Excellent Excel skill and be familiar to accounting software
