Home Loan Credit Analyst

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Home Loan Credit Analyst to join our team in December 2024! Working hours will only be Monday to Friday 9-6pm with a competitive compensation package.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mortgage broking and finance, with proven expertise in managing home loan applications from start to finish. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient processing of home loan applications, working closely with brokers and clients to gather required documentation, prepare loan proposals, and navigate lender requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process home loan applications from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Australian lending standards.

- Review and verify supporting documentation for home loan applications, including PAYG payslips, bank statements, and other relevant financial documents.

- Calculate income for servicing by analysing payslips and other financial information.

- Prepare loan proposals for customers based on borrowing information provided by the broker.

- Collect documentation directly from customers as part of the loan application process, ensuring all necessary paperwork is complete and accurate.

- Collaborate with the broker to ensure all aspects of the home loan application process are handled efficiently and in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with an Australian Mortgage Broker and/or finance company

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• Strong familiarity with Australian home loan application processes and all supporting documentation requirements

• Proficient in reading PAYG payslips and calculating income for servicing purposes

• Proven experience in document collection from customers
