This position is responsible for delivering APLL commitment to key customers, meeting day to day operations requirements of the customers. The position guides a team of logistics coordinators to achieve operations excellence through defined and agreed processes. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the position oversees operations of warehousing facilities in Hai Phong and other cities/provinces when required. He assists the Branch Manager to ensure service providers meet or exceed operations metrics. The position helps to coach, train, develop logistics coordinators to be qualified to handle customers’ logistics requirements.
2. Key Accountabilities
Conduct periodic meetings with Logistics Coordinators to ensure compliance to customers’ standards and requirements.
Supervise, monitor and guide logistics Coordinators to comply with customers’ and vendors’ requirements
Execute established processes and audit measures to support and meet customers’ requirements at agreed level.
Liaise with other functional teams to understand all necessary aspects and needs of operational developments, and ensure they are fully informed of customer services objectives, purposes and achievements.
Execute and adhere to customers service requirements as spelling out in Logistics Procedure.
Problem Resolution – ensure issues are tackled immediately and escalate to Branch Manager when there are potential costs impact and service issues.
Oversee and maintain operations reports and inventories records, prepare reports and analysis to forecast space and resources requirements to cope with changing volume trends.
Ensure required reports are provided in timely and accurate manners.
Streamline processes to achieve cost savings and ensure profitability
Deploy internally and externally to ensure sufficient resources are allocated to manage changes in volumes and increasing demands of customers.
Manage service providers to ensure compliance to customers’ requirements.

University Degree or equivalent qualification with 7 years working experience in the logistics industry and track record in Operations Management (warehousing & distribution)
Requirements
In depth local knowledge about regulatory, regional practices, cultural differences.
Track record in engaging large MNC accounts (complex business rules)
Data-driven and process-minded leader, who has led large teams
Able to engage complex supply chain topics; meaningfully engage senior stakeholders and seek solutions in an ambiguous environment.
Able to leverage technology or mobilize suitable stakeholders to implement solutions.
Cross-functional experience is highly preferred
International work experience is advantageous
