Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, compensation & benefits (C&B), training, and expatriate formalities. The role requires excellent communication skills in English, and the national language, solid HR knowledge, and a service-minded attitude toward staff, students, parents, and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
General HR Support
• Maintain accurate and updated HR records and files (physical and digital).
• Communicate important HR announcements and updates to staff in a timely and professional manner.
• Prepare and submit HR reports as needed.
• Stay informed about HR trends and propose operational improvements.
• Other tasks as assigned
Recruitment & Onboarding
• Coordinate recruitment activities: sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
• Collaborate with Head of School and Head of Administration on staffing decisions.
• Organize onboarding procedures and ensure a smooth start for new employees.
Compensation & Benefits (C&B)
• Perform monthly payroll calculations and coordinate with the Accounting Department.
• Handle monthly personal income tax declarations and insurance matters (social, health, and unemployment insurance).
• Track and maintain records of employee leave (sick leave, annual leave, unpaid leave, etc.).
• Ensure all C&B practices are compliant with local laws and company policies.
• Support employees with C&B-related queries and documentation.
Employee Relations & Performance
• Act as a contact point for employee concerns and handle issues with discretion.
• Support performance appraisal cycles, track evaluations, and assist in improvement plans.
• Monitor employee performance and attendance trends to provide timely feedback and support.
Expat Formalities
• Coordinate visa, work permit and other relevant processes for expatriate staff.
• Liaise with government agencies, embassies, and service providers as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of expatriate documentation and stay updated on related legal requirements.
Yêu cầu công việc
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–3 years of HR experience; prior experience in an educational setting is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, and the national language.
• Solid understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and administrative tools.
• Independent, organized, and self-motivated working style.
• High emotional intelligence, good interpersonal skills, and cultural awareness.
• Friendly and professional attitude toward colleagues, students, and parents.
• Willingness to support evening or weekend school events if needed.
• Eagerness to grow professionally through training and development.
