Job Purpose
The Senior Manager – HR Business Partner cum Recruitment serves as a strategic people partner to assigned business units while leading end-to-end recruitment activities, particularly for key, managerial, and specialized roles within the financial services sector. This role ensures HR solutions and talent acquisition strategies are aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
+ Act as a strategic HR partner to assigned business units.
+ Advise senior leaders on organization design, workforce planning, performance management, succession planning, and talent development.
+ Implement and govern HR policies and programs including performance reviews, talent assessment, employee engagement, disciplinary actions, and employee relations.
+ Support change management initiatives such as restructuring, expansion, or transformation.
+ Analyze HR metrics (headcount, turnover, productivity, engagement) and provide data-driven recommendations to business leaders.
2. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
+ Develop and execute recruitment strategies aligned with business and workforce plans.
+ Lead end-to-end recruitment for key roles, managerial positions, and senior specialists, especially in sales, agency, investment, underwriting, risk, compliance, and finance functions.
+ Partner closely with hiring managers on candidate assessment, selection, offer management, and onboarding.
+ Ensure recruitment effectiveness in terms of quality, time-to-hire, and cost efficiency.
+ Build and maintain strong talent pipelines and manage relationships with external search firms and recruitment partners.
3. Employer Branding & Talent Market Intelligence
+ Contribute to employer branding initiatives to attract high-quality talent.
+ Monitor labor market trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent availability within the financial services industry.
+ Continuously improve recruitment processes and candidate experience.
4. HR Governance, Compliance & Risk
+ Ensure all HRBP and recruitment activities comply with labor laws, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
+ Work closely with Compliance and Risk teams on sensitive HR matters and regulated roles.
+ Maintain confidentiality and data privacy for employee and candidate information.
5. People Management & Capability Building
+ Lead, coach, and develop HRBP and recruitment team members (if applicable).
+ Build people management capability among line managers through coaching and HR best practices.

Education & Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or related fields; Master’s degree is a plus.
+ Minimum 10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in an HRBP and/or Recruitment leadership role.
+ Strong preference for candidates with experience in financial services, banking, insurance, securities, or fintech.
+ Proven track record in hiring managerial and specialized roles within regulated industries.
Knowledge & Competencies
+ Strong understanding of the HR Business Partner model and Talent Acquisition best practices.
+ Solid knowledge of labor laws, employee relations, and HR governance.
+ Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, particularly with senior leaders.
+ Strong interviewing, assessment, and decision-making capabilities.
+ Ability to analyze HR and recruitment data to drive insights.
+ High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
+ Good command of English
