HSE and Lean Staff (5 Working Days Per Week - French Company)

The HSE and Lean Staff drives continuous improvement by deploying Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, VSM), delivering training, and sustaining daily management. The role ensures a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace by managing safety, occupational health, and environmental programs; aligning with legal and ISO 14001/45001 requirements; and investigating incidents with corrective actions.

HSE and Lean Staff reports directly to General Director.

Lean Implementation

Assist in deploying Lean tools and methodologies (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, etc.).

Facilitate workshops and training sessions on Lean principles for employees.

Monitor and sustain Lean practices in daily operations.

Occupational Safety Management

Monitor the implementation of safety regulations in the workplace.

Organize safety training for new employees and periodic refreshers.

Conduct risk assessments and propose preventive measures for accidents.

Ensure the working environment meets occupational hygiene standards.

Environmental Management

Control waste, emissions, and wastewater in compliance with legal requirements.

Prepare and submit environmental reports to authorities.

Recommend solutions to improve and minimize environmental impact.

Legal & Standards Compliance

Update legal regulations related to HSE.

Ensure the HSE management system aligns with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 (if applicable).

Incident Handling

Participate in investigations of workplace accidents and environmental incidents.

Prepare reports and propose corrective actions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

2–5 years experience in HSE and/or Lean within manufacturing (rubber/automotive preferred).

Working knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, legal HSE requirements, and core Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, VSM, SMED, TPM, Kanban).

Skills & Competencies

Strong facilitation at the Gemba; confident presenter and trainer.

Root-cause problem solving; data analysis; practical use of Microsoft applications.

Clear, concise communication in English and Vietnamese.

Organized, hands-on, safety-first mindset; resilient and action-oriented.
