Mô Tả Công Việc
o HSE officer, also known as health, safety, and environment officers and environment health and safety officers, monitor health and safety, assess risk, and offer safety advice to reduce potential hazards within an assigned workplace or geographic area.
o HSE officer work full daytime weekday hours, both in office environments and out in the field.
FUNCTIONS AND ROLES INCLUDING:
o Manage and train other health and safety staff members
o Making regular site inspections to perform field investigations and respond to incident reports.
o Planning safe working practices and making necessary changes
o Keeping up to date and ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation
o Ensuring that equipment is installed correctly/safely
o Writing reports, bulletins and newsletters
o Undertaking risk assessments
o Identifying potential hazards
o Determining ways of reducing risks
o Liaising with relevant authorities
o Organising/attending health and safety meetings
o Safely handling hazardous substances
o Compiling statistics
o Making recommendations following accidents/incidents
o Keeping up to date with developments within the profession
o Making presentations to groups of employees/managers.
o Providing health and safety training courses for employees and managers
o Investigating/recording incidents, accidents, complaints and cases of ill health
o Writing internal health and safety policies/strategies
o Drawing-up safe operational procedures
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
o At least 3 years’ experience in health and safety.
o HSE Qualification such as NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
o In depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA/EPA) and procedures
o Proficient in all Microsoft Applications.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Good organization skills
o Good analytical skills and the ability to think critically
o Good public speaking skills
o Leadership skills
