Job Purpose
Support the implementation of HSE activities at the project site in accordance with the contract, JFEE HSE Management System, and project HSE policy. Supervise daily site operations to ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental protection requirements.
Main Responsibilities/Major Tasks
Responsibilities / Tasks
1. Training & Awareness
o Conduct induction training for new workers and deliver specific HSE training programs as required.
o Carry out daily Toolbox Talks to reinforce safety awareness.
2. Documentation & Records
o Check, record, and maintain all HSE-related documents for the project.
o Verify and record manpower and equipment details; issue entry passes when appropriate.
o Monitor and record the project’s Permit to Work (PTW) system.
o Prepare and submit internal and external reports related to Health, Safety, and Environment.
3. Site Safety Management
o Perform daily site safety inspections and ensure good housekeeping across the worksite.
o Identify, report, and support the resolution of unsafe actions and conditions.
o Ensure compliance with corporate HSE rules, procedures, and statutory requirements.
o Provide HSE advice and guidance to subcontractors’ site engineers and staff.
o Issue penalty notice to contractors who violate safety regulations on construction sites
4. Equipment & Waste Control
o Inspect heavy equipment and electrical equipment before first use on site and periodically thereafter.
o Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure proper collection, handling, and disposal of all types of waste.
5. Emergency Preparedness & Coordination
o Actively participate as a member of the emergency rescue team.
o Join periodic internal and external HSE meetings to review performance and address issues.
o Take part in weekly site safety patrols, prepare patrol reports, and ensure closure of identified issues.
6. Other Duties
o Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the HSE Manager.
Yêu cầu công việc
o University Degree in related majors to safety management & health field
o At least 5 - 7 years of working experiences related to HSE of construction site.
o Safety Engineer Certificate
o Computer skills: MS Office, (Excel, Word, PPT)
o Can communicate and read documents in English
o Ability to work in team as well as independently and in stressful environment
