Job Description

- Reporting to the Senior Director, Human Resources to manage all round Human Resources and support Finance & Administration function in our Hanoi Office

* Human Resources:
• Review policies and procedures, provide insight from a local perspective to ensure compliance to local practice and regulation and Corporate standards are upheld
• As HRBP for line managers on the structure of organization, employee issues including performance and disciplinary actions
• Responsible for full recruitment process including job posting, LinkedIn search, interview scheduling, assessment and extending offers to final candidates
• Facilitate exceptional candidate experience and provide consultancy advice to hiring managers during recruitment process to ensure suitable candidates selection
• Manage background checks and onboarding plan including work permit application, system and workstation setup, 30/60/90 days process, confirmation of probation..etc.
• Manage operation with vendors for monthly payroll, tax filing and statutory deductions
• Review Vietnam insurance, provide market insight on benefits information and labor law
• Manage performance management cycle, provide coaching, feedback to leaders and build impactful succession plans
• Review training needs and work close with Training team for Training Calendar, as local training facilitator when needed
• Initial annual activities plan for Carter’s Cares and engagement programs

* Finance :
• Manage financial management activities in support of maintaining strong financial governance
• Work with external auditors, financial institutions and consultants to coordinate audits, tax/legal compliance, banking regulation, and due diligence
• Responsible for management and statutory reports and internal controls
• Develop documents, implement and maintain internal accounting and administrative control processes
• Provide financial analysis by using internal and external information
* Administration :
• Work with local management and Administration team to oversee office supplies and support travel arrangement for visitors and conference set up
• Liaise with IT Team to bridge support to local team
• Review, monitor and procure office supplies

Job Requirements

• University Degree in Human Resources, Finance, or related field with 8 years or above relevant working experience, preferably within MNC in retail/garment industry
• Strong Human Resources knowledge in Vietnam Employment Law, statutory requirements, HR market practices and payroll practices
• Familiar with statutory accounting standard, tax/banking regulations, and legal compliance in Vietnam
• Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and ability to problem solving
• Exceptional customer service, follow up, organizational skills, and high attention to details
• Proficient presentation and communication skills including written and spoken English & Mandarin
• Strong in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
