Job Overview
The Human Resources Officer for Dwight School Hanoi’s HR Department supports the execution of diverse human resources tasks at the School under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Officer will be an integral part of the School’s Human Resources Team and will work closely with many other departments of the School.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting and Hiring Staff and Faculty:
• Coordinate staff recruitment and selection process to ensure a timely, organized and comprehensive hiring process.
• Provide advice and assistance to the manager on staff recruitment.
• Prepare notices and advertisements for vacant staff positions.
• Schedule and organize interviews.
• Conduct reference checks on potential candidates if necessary.
• Prepare, develop, and implement procedures and policies on staff recruitment.
• Inform unsuccessful applicants.
• Conduct exit interviews.
• Use school systems, both digital and paper-based, to maintain records and complete work tasks.
Maintaining the Human Resources Database:
• Draft local and international faculty data updates.
• Create, manage and maintain master employee files, ensuring compliance and confidentiality.
Supporting International Faculty:
• Follow procedures related to administrative affairs of international faculty in line with school policies.
• Apply for entry visa, work permit (WP), renewal/extension of visa, residence card, and other paperwork on behalf of international faculty.
• Assist international faculty in preparing necessary documents for shipping clearance.
• Prepare an approved insurance list and liaise with the insurance broker to issue an insurance card.
• Assist international faculty with opening bank accounts and processing other registrations as needed.
• Assist departing staff to obtain police clearance records (PCR).
• Coordinate with leadership regarding their lease or termination of lease and manage all related communications to keep the team informed.
Implementing the other MOET related tasks:
• Assist with administrative tasks and documentation related to MOET/DOET curriculum compliance, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
Handling Miscellaneous Human Resources Tasks:
• Assist in organizing staff events, including: team building, CPD, End of Year party, etc.
N.B.: These key responsibilities are not intended to be all-inclusive. Human Resources Officer may be required to perform other related duties assigned by their manager to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

• Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration); Master’s preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources; previous experience in an international school is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all staff and organization records.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team with all levels of staff.
• Knowledgeable in labor law and relevant legal documents.
• Strong interpersonal, communications, and time management skills.
• Flexible and agile working style suitable for supporting the operations of a greenfield school.
• Demonstrated passion for driving and executing organizational improvements.
• Fluent in written and spoken Vietnamese and English.
