We are looking for an SAP TM Functional Consultant/Lead with experience in S/4HANA embedded TM 1809 or higher is preferred, as well as implementation experience particularly in (Decentralized) SAP TM in 9.x, including the following experience:
- Configure the shipper's perspective of the Advanced Planning & VSR Optimizer.
- Setting up distribution planning scenarios and carrying out load planning
- Set up a tracking system for the execution of transportation using SAP Event Management and SAP TM
- Sync SAP TM and SAP Extended Warehouse Management to execute transportation
- Create and carry out processes for carrier selection, tendering, and subcontracting
- Perform and check charge calculation
- Setup processes for freight settlement in SAP TM and SAP ERP
- Correct freight charges after they were already settled in collaboration with carriers
- Improve the setup for charge computation to make it more dynamic
- Distribute the determined charges to the associated originating transportation needs
- Set up the strategic freight procurement procedure
- Configure the Forwarding Order kinds so that they can be used in the business process
- Create and utilize templates for forwarding quotes
- Use ocean and air schedules to organize international transportation
- Facilitate the processing of imports and exports within a global logistics framework
- Understanding of integrating SAP TM with SAP GTS, EWM, and EM
- Knowledge of order integration, TM queue processing, and PPF (post processing framework)
Others:
- Facilitate gathering of business requirements through workshops. To meet client needs, identify gaps, problems, and workarounds
- Deliver appropriate system solutions after performing a thorough examination of complicated business requirements
- Determine, comprehend, confirm, and record customer requirements
- Work on estimating the effort and rough costs with a timeline if we implement SAP TM
- Actively pursue Fit Gap Analysis and suggest a viable SAP procedure with the system improvements required for the needs of the business
- Lead the team actively on both the topics of functional and technical role

- 10 to 12 years’ experience in SAP Implementation/Roll-out projects
- A thorough understanding of the logistics and shipping processes and extensive manufacturing and process experience
- Good communication - English and Japanese (N3 JLPT up)
- Problem solving, Flexibility, Leadership
- Powerful intellectual abilities, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to explain difficult concepts and issues
- Management abilities and soft skills (Presentation, Planning, scheduling and monitoring, Team handling)
- Working with international teams, including Japanese customers and stakeholders and an implementation team dispersed across Asia
- A thorough understanding of the logistics and shipping processes and extensive manufacturing and process experience
- Good communication - English and Japanese (N3 JLPT up)
