Job description
JOB PURPOSE
Provides direct Industrial Engineering support to Manufacturing and drives Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including identifying opportunities for improvement in relation to process efficiencies, production line balancing, and work flow evaluation of processes for wastes etc…to ensure that production line and method is set up in a way to achieve expected quality and productivity target
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES)
1. Leading IED activities to maximize Man, Machine, Material, Method & management to deliver the product to customer in a right cost, quality & time
2. Drive Man, Machine, Material & Method to improve line productivity, delight customer and maximize People, Process & Performance
3. Establish and maintains Industrial Engineering labor standards for all products.
4. Design and implement the incentive system for production operators.
5. Provide support as required for ‘Lean Manufacturing’ project to reduce non-direct processes
6. Conduct studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control and production record systems
7. Lead cross-functional project teams established to identify, evaluate and implement improvement opportunities
8. Complete project deliverables and monitors project schedules and scope changes to ensure project teams can meet delivery requirements.
9. Innovate right production model to cope with product mix requirement
10. Carry out follow-up/potential studies to support production to improve the productivity.
11. Coach and develop IE team members.

• Number of continuous improvement projects implemented
• C&M SAM time and cost improvement
• Efficiency improvement
• Lean factory setup and enhancement
• Maintain the correct SMV data bank
Job requirements
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
• Graduated university in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management or Technical Engineer
• More than 5 years experience in sweater manufacturing.
• Sound knowledge in Time Study, Process Study, Layout study and Lean Production system
• Fluent ENG communication (speaking & writing)
• Industrial Engineering background
• at least 2 year experience for same position (preferable)
• Good presentation skill
• Basic garment sewing technique
• computer literate (Ms Office, Visio, project and simulation)
