Image Retoucher

Rodd & Gunn are looking for a talented Image Retoucher, who is excited about compelling imagery and has an eye for detail. The successful applicant will have an understanding of colour grading, retouching, size & resolution, file formats and digital platforms.

This position is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn and grow in a small, but hard-working team within a fast-paced environment across Rodd & Gunn and The Lodge Group.

Reporting to the Head of Graphic Design & Content, your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

·       Retouching top tier campaign imagery and deliver seasonally within tight deadlines.

·       Re-sizing top level assets to a range of different sizes and resolutions.

·       Retouching and resizing second tier digital monthly imagery.

·       Retouching, etching and resizing all ecommerce monthly imagery.

·       Crop images in conjunction to brand guidelines.

·       Maintain file management and supplying of images to all stakeholders.

·       File, manage & supply all imagery for the global business and platforms including:

o   Ecommerce

o   Instore visuals

o   Social

o   Digital

o   Print

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

·       Fluent conversational English, both written and verbal

·       Great time management

·       Ability to follow & understand brand guidelines.

·       Attention to detail.

·       Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom Classic, Photoshop CC

Sound knowledge of:

·       Colour grading

·       Non-destructive Image editing

·       Retouching blemishes and imperfections in garments

·       Etching ecommerce imagery

·       File formats

Not required but looked upon favourably:

·       Knowledge of InDesign CC, Illustrator CC, Premiere Pro & After Effects.

·       Knowledge of Microsoft excel.

·       Mac OSX platform.

The successful applicant will have a qualification in Photography or Graphic Design and have a working knowledge of image retouching, digital/social platforms, and file management.
