Industrial Automation & Control Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, program, install, and maintain automated control systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA) for production lines, ensuring stable, safe, and efficient operation.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to electrical and automation systems, including PLCs, sensors, inverters (VFDs), and servo systems.

• Program, optimize, and maintain PLC systems, primarily Panasonic and Keyence, and work with other PLC platforms such as Omron and Mitsubishi when required.

• Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve the performance of automated production lines by proposing technical solutions to increase productivity, reduce defects, and optimize energy consumption.

• Participate in equipment installation, commissioning, testing, and acceptance to ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and company requirements.

• Create, update, and manage technical documentation, including electrical drawings, PLC programs, and control schematics, ensuring accuracy and traceability.

• Collaborate with equipment suppliers and external technical partners on system upgrades, equipment replacement, and integration of new automation systems.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, electrical standards, and internal procedures during all engineering activities.

• College or University degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Automation, or Mechatronics.

• At least 3 years of experience in the field of electrical and automation engineering in manufacturing plants with automated production lines.

• Hands-on experience with PLC control systems, particularly Panasonic PLCs, HMI, SCADA.

• Ability to plan and execute tasks independently.
