Inspector (on-site In Northern Vietnam)

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Perform DURP, FRI as well as 100% Full Check Inspections in the factories, issue English QC report.

• Conduct supplier on-site technical audits, evaluate the general situation of the factories in different aspects such as QMS, capacity and site management.

• Oversee the production as per expected quality standard and timeline, supervise the container loading when needed.

• Coordinate and communicate with Project Managers and suppliers regarding product quality and delivery timeline issues.

• MUST BE LOCATED IN NORTHERN VIETNAM!

• Required languages are Vietnamese, English (Excellent, written & oral, it will be used as the working language for communication between sourceM offices) and Mandarin would be a huge plus.

• Knowledge of US testing requirements.

• College diploma, major in QME, supply chain, material or engineering.

• Minimum of 5 years’ background of working as a QA/QC for hardgoods at buying office or 3rd party TIC company.

• Experience in plastic, glass and paper packaging products, preferably possession of in-depth knowledge with PP/PS materials and injection techniques.

• Familiar with AQL standard, regular defect classification and on-site tests, solid knowledge of ISO9001 and GMP.

• Able to approach and resolve issues and offer corrective plans to make sure product quality is on track.

• Diligent, positive, self-disciplined and detail-oriented, good communication skills & a team player.

• Willing to travel, willing to stay at the factory location for the entire production period (mostly in areas near Hanoi and HCMC).
