International Sales Specialist - Export Sales
Job description
Business Development
• Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market segments.
• Proactively seek and create opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, and referrals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with potential customers to expand the customer base.
Account Management
• Manage and nurture relationships with current customers, ensuring to meet and exceed their expectations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, orders, and issue resolution.
• Work closely with customers to understand their needs and propose suitable solutions.
• Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
Cross-function tasks:
• Collaborate with the service team to address customer requests, resolve issues, and ensure excellent service.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely production and delivery and resolve production-related issues.
• Communicate customer feedback and market information to relevant departments for product development and improving customer experience.
Reporting
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance indicators to track progress towards goals.
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
• Provide timely updates and information to management regarding sales performance and market development.
Other Responsibilities
• Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to promote company products and services.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop advertising materials and campaigns to support sales efforts.
• Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and best practices to maintain competitiveness.
Job requirements
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of international business experience, with knowledge of flooring or building materials industry
• Language: Fluent in English with all 4 skills
• Knowledge: Import-export, distribution, building materials industry
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel when necessary."
