Job Overview:

We are seeking an Investment Director to drive M&A and greenfield investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector. This role requires identifying and securing new projects, engaging with investors and financial institutions, and leading investment transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background, extensive industry experience, and excellent presentation skills to influence key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Sourcing & Business Development:

Identify and assess new renewable energy investment opportunities in Vietnam and internationally.

Build relationships with government agencies, developers, and industry partners to source potential projects.

Conduct market research and feasibility studies to identify emerging opportunities in solar, wind, hydro, and other renewable energy sectors.

Develop and maintain a pipeline of high-potential projects for M&A and greenfield investments.

Investment Strategy & Execution:

Lead the due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, and risk assessment of potential investment projects.

Structure, negotiate, and execute deals that align with the company’s strategic growth objectives.

Develop business cases and investment proposals to secure internal and external approval.

Fundraising & Financial Structuring:

Engage with banks, investment funds, and institutional investors to secure project financing.

Structure financial models that optimize return on investment and mitigate risks.

Negotiate joint ventures, partnerships, and financing agreements with strategic investors.

Stakeholder Engagement & Presentation:

Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and investor roadshows in Vietnam and overseas.

Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to investors, government bodies, and corporate partners.

Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate deal-making.

Project Oversight & Risk Management:

Oversee the execution of investment projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory, financial, and operational standards.

Monitor and optimize project performance, ensuring financial and strategic objectives are met.

Stay updated on industry regulations, government policies, and market trends affecting the renewable energy sector.

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in finance and industrial investment projects with high value up to 800,000 to 1 Bil USD

At least 3 years of experience in renewable energy investments.

Strong expertise in M&A, project finance, and investment structuring.

Proven ability to source and secure new investment opportunities.

Excellent networking, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Ability to travel nationwide and internationally.
