Function: Investment
Role: Independent Contributor
Position Objective:
- Handle daily investment operations including trade processing & settlement, cash & position reconciliation, group & regulatory reporting, investment system management.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support daily back-office investment operations including: daily trade upload, trade matching and settlement, post trade reconciliation, static data maintenance (in Bloomberg, SAP FAM, IBOR) in accordance with internal standards & guidelines.
- Perform daily cash & position reconciliation between AIA systems (Bloomberg, SAP FAM, IBOR) and custodian. Provide upon request cash projection report & available funding for new investments;
- Closely follow-up with custodian, brokers, fund managers, and other counterparties during pre-trade and post-trade processes.
- Handle periodic reports and queries from local risk/product/actuary, group investment ops.
- Assist operations team in various projects and new initiatives rolled out by group, local management.
- Support Legal & Governance function within investment: implementation of Investment Governance Framework, maintain up-to-date error and breach logs, governance document maintenance, control & process improvement
- Responsible for data creation & maintenance in various system such as new security/broker/account set-up, master data adjustments
- Support Unit-linked Funds operations

Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor Degree with major in Economics, Accounting, Corporate Finance or Banking
- Basic understanding of financial industry and investment activities
- Knowledge of Microsoft office
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, responsible, and pro-active
