Job Summary
- The IT Administrator is responsible for operating, optimizing, and developing business-supporting solutions within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and standardize internal operations. The role leverages platforms such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI) to translate business requirements into practical, scalable technology solutions.
- In this position, the IT Administrator manages core Microsoft services including Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Intune, while providing Level 1–2 IT Helpdesk support to ensure reliable day-to-day system operation and effective end-user assistance. A solid foundation in information security is required to ensure that all implemented solutions adhere to organizational security policies, access controls, and data protection standards. The ideal candidate is business-oriented, technically hands-on, and capable of maintaining a secure, stable, and well-governed Microsoft-centric cloud environment, while supporting incident investigation and resolution when security issues arise.
Key Responsibilities
1. Microsoft 365 Administration (Core Responsibility):
Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) administration:
• User lifecycle management (Joiner / Mover / Leaver)
• Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Conditional Access
• Role and permission management
Administration of:
• Exchange Online (Outlook)
• SharePoint Online (site management, permissions, data governance)
• Microsoft Teams (policies, external and guest access)
• OneDrive for Business
Device management:
• Intune / Endpoint Manager
• Device compliance and security baselines
2. Cyber Security & Information Security (MANDATORY)
Implementation and operation of:
• Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Office 365)
• Email security and anti-phishing solutions
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
Monitoring and alerting:
• Risky sign-ins
• Abnormal user behavior
• Data leakage risks
3. IT Helpdesk (Level 1–2)
Documentation:
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• User guides
• IT knowledge base
4. Data Governance & Access Control
SharePoint structure design:
• Based on projects and departments
• Application of the least-privilege principle
Control and enforcement of:
• External sharing
• Data retention and backup policies
5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Reporting on:
• Security posture
• User adoption
Continuous improvement initiatives:
• Enhancing security controls
• Standardizing IT processes
Yêu cầu công việc
Required:
• Bachelor of IT or a related field.
• Good at English – TOEIC 680 (IELTS 6.0)
• 3-5+ years of experience as an IT Administrator/System Admin.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment.
• Solid understanding of security concepts beyond simply enabling features.
• Strong mindset in Risk-based thinking, and Business impact awareness.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility for data protection.
• Clear and transparent communication, with no tendency to hide issues
• Proactive in identifying and escalating potential risks
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure during incidents
Preferred:
• Microsoft certifications (MS-102, SC-300, SC-200) are a strong plus.
• Experience with Power BI and automation tools (Power Automate)
• Experience working with Global teams and/or US time zones
