IT Manager

PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:

The IT Manager at Spartronics Viet Nam is responsible for providing strategic leadership and effective management of the organization’s Information Technology function. This role plays a critical part in aligning IT systems, infrastructure, and operations with overall business objectives, supporting growth, innovation, and operational efficiency.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Strategic Planning:

- Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with the company’s long-term goals.

- Ensure all technology initiatives support business growth, innovation, and operational excellence.

2. Operational Management:

- Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of systems and infrastructure.

- Develop, implement, and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to streamline operations and mitigate risks.

3. Team Management:

- Lead and coaching the IT team, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.

- Manage recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to ensure team capability and alignment with business goals.

- Provide guidance and allocate resources to support individual and team development.

4. IT Governance and KPIs:

- Define and implement IT governance frameworks to ensure compliance, accountability, and alignment with business objectives.

- Establish and monitor key IT performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate service quality, system performance, and project delivery.

5. Technology Infrastructure:

- Plan, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and security systems.

- Ensure infrastructure is secure, scalable, and reliable to support current and future organizational needs.

6. Information Security, Risk Management and Compliance:

- Safeguard the organization’s data and ensure adherence to relevant regulations and standards.

- Establish robust IT policies and procedures to protect sensitive information and proactively address risks.

- Lead IT security and risk management initiatives to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

7. Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery:

- Develop, implement, and regularly test business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure IT service resilience.

- Identify critical systems and processes, and establish recovery time objectives and recovery point objectives.

- Conduct periodic risk assessments and simulation exercises to validate recovery strategies and ensure preparedness.

8. Continuous Improvement:

- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance IT capabilities and drive innovation.

- Evaluate and recommend new tools and systems to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness.

9. Budget and Resource Management:

- Manage the IT budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximizing return on IT investments.

- Monitor and control expenditures, addressing deviations from budget as necessary.

- Build and maintain vendor relationships, negotiating contracts to optimize cost-effectiveness and value delivery.

1. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline is required.

2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience, 3 years in the managerial role within the IT field.

3. Others:

- Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) are advantageous.

- Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and software development methodologies.

- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.

- Experience with Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, and ERP systems.

- Proficiency in the English language (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension).
