Mô Tả Công Việc

Position Objective

The IT Manager is
• Accountable for all ICT service delivery and support actions taken and to ensure that they meet business and ICT requirements for Cognita VN
• The primary relationship owner for Cognita VN schools and conduit through which business priorities and needs are understood, communicated and incorporated within the overall IT plan and standards
• Accountable for overall ICT customer satisfaction. Customers are understood as (i) schools’ leadership, (ii) academic teams, (iii) students, (iv) operational teams, (v) school community (ie. parents)
• Required to collaborate with the IT Director, Asia in strategically aligning technological solutions with Cognita VN needs

Scope of duties include but is not limited to:

Leadership and Management
• Participate in IT Strategy planning – through current knowledge of tech & best practices, and future vision of new and emerging technologies, systems, and applicability
• Possesses and develops an in-depth understanding of the Vietnam schools to contribute to strategic planning for both the business and ICT ensuring business needs are transformed into tangible technology initiatives.
• Enable and champion a positive and constructive ICT service culture

Business Relationship Management
• Work as a business partner to the schools and operations team to realize of business value through IT delivery
• Operate across functions and with Schools’ leadership in pursuit of demand management, resource alignment, and solutions delivery
• Partner with school functions, business process leads in Vietnam to create an actionable roadmap for the IT Team’s delivery
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture and IT Solutions Managers to determine feasibility of incoming business requests
• Work closely with IT Solutions managers, subject matter experts, and business partners to formulate financial and resource estimates
• Work with schools’ EdTech teams to improve the use of ICT in education (eg. through ICT workshops, accredited training, etc)

• Oversee the ITSM-based management processes and controls to ensure quality is maintained to meet business objectives
• Review service metrics (KPI) that identify the success of the services being utilized to recommend and coordinate implementation of changes to services to improve metrics
• Create and maintain the catalogue of existing services offered by IT Cognita, Vietnam
• Ensure appropriate Operations level Agreement (OLA)/ Service Level Agreement (SLA) are in place to support any new services
• Analyze and review actual service performance against OLAs and SLAs
• Provide regular reports on service performance and achievement to Cognita Asia
• Reviewing OLA and SLA targets and metrics where necessary
• Review third party underpinning agreements where necessary
• Approve acceptance into production of new systems and services
• Ensure BCP/DR plans are compatible with delivered operations and plans are tested on a regular basis
• Manage and develop all IT operational staff
• Oversee recruitment of IT operational staff
• Enforce policies, procedures and standards, ensuring legal compliance, best practice and consistency across Vietnam schools.
• Champion service improvements on an ongoing basis to continually improve quality and customer satisfaction with ICT service

Financial Management
• Prepare, negotiate and agree to annual ICT Vietnam Opex and Capex budgets
• Manage and monitor the budgets using the financial reports provided by the finance teams
• Ensure availability of capital and operational budgets and monitor performance against targets.

Extended professional role
• Lead in developing the right culture by taking every opportunity to promote the philosophy and policies of the Cognita Group & its constituent schools
• Take responsibility for students and fellow team members in times of emergency
• Communicate positively and appropriately with staff, leadership & members of the school community

The job holder’s responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young person’s for whom the job holder is responsible, or with whom the job holder comes into contact will be to adhere to and ensure compliance with the relevant Cognita Safeguarding; Child Protection Policy and Procedures at all times. If in the course of carrying out the duties of the role, the job holder identifies any instance that a child is suffering or likely to suffer significant harm either at school or at home, the job holder must report any concerns to the School’s Child Protection Officer/Designated Safeguarding Lead or to the Head of indeed to the Regional CEP so that a referral can be made accordingly to the relevant third part services.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

• Bachelor or master’s degree with relevant major in the area of expertise
• Minimum of five years of full-time relevant experience in a related field

Position Requirements
• Knowledge and experience in facilities management, vendor management and general operations EHS, fire safety, security systems
• Holding up to date Health and Safety qualifications and certifications
• Good leadership, interpersonal and staff handling skills
• Able to work independently or in a team, multi-task and motivate staff
• Fluent in English and Vietnamese both speaking and writing
• Administration and information technology
• Being attentive to details
