IT Senior System Admin

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure including Windows and Linux operating systems.

• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.

• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.

• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.

• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency.

• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support.

• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

• Other tasks are assigned by Line Manager.

• Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role.

• Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management.

• Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery.

• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms including Windows and Linux.

• Resourcefulness and problem solving aptitude.

• Bsc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline; professional certification (e.g. MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, LPI,…) is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• OS (Windows, Linux) installation, Administrating.

• Application Administrating.

• Have knowledge of network, system, anti-virus software, Microsoft office 365, Email, Printer, Backup system, Vmware, Cable, etc.
